Carlyle Brown & Company is a professional Theater company of associated artists producing one to two works of live performance each year. Theatre pieces created through both text work and ensemble collaboration that year by year will develop into a growing body of original work. It is the mission of Carlyle Brown & Company to create and produce original works of live performance that bring beauty, joy and insight to our audiences; to be a beacon in the search for a collective consciousness and to rouse both our ire and celebration of our common humanity. We believe that live performance is an invitation to imagination, empathy and feeling; that the theater is a place for abstraction, symbolism and ideas for collective discourse with our audiences.
