Hello to all…

After last night, I had to write a note about seeing Theatre du Mississippi’s “My Children!  My Africa!”  I knew it would be a professional, thoughtful production – but had no idea it would be completely riveting.

The story is exquisitely written, directed and compelling in its message.  All three actors give amazing, beautiful performances – Namir and Vanessa, the two young Guthrie students have a dramatic maturity that is staggering.  Carlyle Brown is fascinating, as always.

This is a magnificent production at the level of any you will see at most Twin Cities Theatres.  Please don’t miss it…
